Crash in Thames leaves three in hospital

Three people were taken to hospital after two cars crashed into each other Friday night.
One person was trapped after the cars crashed in Thames, near the intersection of Albert St and Queen St.
Fire Service shift manager Megan Ruru and police Senior Sergeant Chris Money said one person had to be extracted from the vehicle, just after 10pm Friday.
St John reported that two vehicles attended the incident, treated three patients, and transported them to Thames Hospital.
One was in a serious condition, while the other two are understood to have moderate injuries.
It is not yet known what caused the crash.
